Cultivation Tips:

• Light: Provide bright, indirect light for optimal blooming. A location with filtered sunlight or under a grow light with a high light output will keep the plant healthy and promote abundant flowering.
• Temperature: Maintain intermediate to warm temperatures, ideally between 65-85°F (18-29°C) during the day and a slight drop at night to around 55-65°F (13-18°C).
• Humidity: Keep humidity levels between 50-70%, with good air circulation to prevent fungal issues. You can increase humidity by placing a tray of water near the plant or using a humidifier.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the potting medium is nearly dry. Cattleya orchids prefer to dry out slightly between waterings. Adjust watering frequency based on the temperature and humidity of your growing environment.
• Fertilization: Feed with a balanced orchid fertilizer at half strength every two weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in the fall and winter when growth slows.
• Potting: Use a well-draining orchid mix, such as medium-grade bark or a combination of bark and perlite. Repot every 2-3 years or when the potting medium begins to break down.
• Blooming: This hybrid typically blooms once a year, with flowers lasting several weeks. Ensure the plant receives adequate light and care to enjoy its full flowering potential.
