Cymbidium Tavoy is a primary hybrid between finlaysonianum and dayanum, the semi-alba form would be expected to produce pendant spikes of flowers in various shades of white to cream, with some red on the lip.
Cymbidium dayanum is a medium-sized species native to Southeast Asia that blooms in summer to fall with pendant sprays of flowers that originate at the base of the pseudobulbs. The album variety will have white flowers. Compact plants will be tolerant of a wide range of temperatures, and flowers may be fragrant.
