A rare brazilian species not often seen with long lasting and strongly fragrant flowers.

A unusual species Hard to Find, with large flowers colored in Olive with red spotting at segment tips, purple lip. Bifoliate.

A Brazilian, hot to cool, bifoliate, epiphytic species found low on trees near water with cylindrical, laterally compressed pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, ellipic, coriaceous, leaves.

Blooms in the spring and summer on a terminal, shorter to 4", several flowered, long-lived inflorescence carrying strongly fragrant, heavy-textured flowers. It is often found in nature with Cattleya harrisoniana.

This is a T3” seedling in a 4.5" clay pot, newly repotted aprox. 3 to 4 years to blooming size.
